Stacy Pawloski
MFTI
I'm so glad you are here, thanks for visiting my profile here. I'm a warm and collaborative therapist who works with teens, individuals, and couples facing anxiety, relationship challenges, and mood-related concerns. I use an outcome-based approach grounded in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care. I offer practical tools and guided exercises that help clients apply what we work on in therapy to their daily lives.
I specialize in helping people move through emotional stuck points, improve communication, and deepen their relationships. I'm well trained in marital work and use the skills-based Gottman Method to support couples in building connection and navigating conflict. I aim to bring a calm presence, clarity, and structure to sessions so clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as an instructor at the Family Leadership Academy, where I developed curriculum and taught social-emotional and leadership skills to children and teens. I also served as the Communications Director in educational settings, supporting families through transitions and challenges. In 2023, I provided therapy at the Family Therapy Clinic in Lehi, Utah, with a focus on trauma, relationship stress, and family systems work.
I’ve recently relocated to St. George and am now part of the team at Elevated Counseling and Wellness. As a mother of both adult and school-age children, I bring a grounded, real-world perspective to my clinical work. I combine my background in education and mental health to offer meaningful support to clients of all ages. I accept most major insurances and welcome new clients who are ready to move forward with insight and purpose.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy traveling and adventure; whether it's a simple road trip to find a great restaurant or an adventure across the world exploring new cultures and experiences. In my free time, I love baking, working on DIY home projects, trying new hobbies, and reading books of all kinds.
