CSW

Whether you're a parent watching your child or teen struggle and feeling helpless to fix it, a young person trying to make sense of emotions that feel too big and too loud, or an adult quietly carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, or trauma while still showing up for everyone else, you don't have to keep doing this alone. I work with children, teens, adults, and couples, and after 16 years in this field, I still genuinely love every part of this work.

My focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and the complex family dynamics that often run underneath them. I also bring a deep background in domestic violence recovery, having spent years directing a children's program at a DV shelter where I worked directly with trauma-affected kids and families in crisis. I draw from CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, EFT, and the Gottman Method. I bring clinical skill, cultural sensitivity, and genuine care to every session. My style is warm, practical, and collaborative, because healing happens best in a relationship built on trust.

Before joining Elevated Counseling and Wellness, I spent over 16 years working in direct care, crisis intervention, and program leadership, including school-based mental health, acute psychiatric settings, and domestic violence services. Those years on the front lines of some of life's hardest moments shaped how I show up in the therapy room. I also speak conversational Spanish and Portuguese, and I welcome clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

I know that reaching out for help takes courage, especially when emotions feel heavy or hard to name. You don't need the right words or a clear plan, just a willingness to begin. Together we'll move at your pace, build on your strengths, and work toward the insight, resilience, and healing you deserve. If you're ready to take that first step, I'd love to connect. Reach out today to schedule a free consultation.

I bring a thoughtful perspective shaped by life experiences, along with a passion for connecting with others at all stages. I enjoy reading, learning about a variety of topics. I enjoy listening to music, exploring on road trips, taking long walks, and spending quality time with my family.
