  • What insurances do you accept?

We accept a wide variety of insurances, including most major insurance providers in Utah. Currently, we accept Select Health, PEHP, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Optum, United Health, UMR, Medicare, Select Health Medicare, Tricare (military), Triwest, and EMI. We also accept new clients on a private pay basis.

  • How do I know if I need counseling and therapy?

We all experience challenges throughout our lives. From building relationships to achieving personal goals and fulfillment, sometimes we all need assistance.

Counseling can help navigate these complex dynamics, allowing you to readjust your perspective and build a strong mental framework for problem-solving. Therapy is an excellent option whether you feel directionless, or simply want some extra help in your day-to-day life.

All are welcome, we are trauma-informed and formally trained and LGBTQ+ affirmative.

  • Is therapy confidential?

Absolutely. The conversations and treatments between you and your therapist are entirely confidential, and strongly protected by HIPPA laws. No information will be shared without outside sources unless your express permission is granted. You can rest assured knowing what you share with your therapist stays private.

  • I’ve never been to a counselor before, what is it like in a typical session?

We start with an introductory session, where we'll fill out paperwork, address your initial questions, and begin to establish a counseling rapport.

We will discuss what you are struggling with, what you hope to achieve through therapy, and strategies we can deploy to achieve your goals. Each approach can look different given your specific needs and what therapeutic treatment will work best for you. Our counselors work hard to ensure your treatment plan is comfortable and at the right pace for your needs.
