Sara Baker

Sometimes life knocks the wind out of you. Stress, anxiety, tragedy and trauma are natural part of the human experience. I am a friendly, compassionate, nonjudgmental therapist who’s eager to help you build healthy coping skills, identify negative thought patterns and navigate through the burdens of your past. I work with individuals, couples and families. I am a safe place to unpack any difficulties that you are facing. I can help you find and become the person you want to be. Whatever you are going through I am here to listen, support and encourage you as you become the best version of yourself.

I am a Gottman-trained therapist and use interventions to help clients identify patterns and interact in more healthy ways. I teach and provide each client with a metaphorical toolbox full of communication and coping skills. I am EMDR trained. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, difficulty coping, ADHD, faith transitions, and trauma.

Reach out to me, I’d welcome a brief phone visit to see if we are a fit and happy to support you in any way that I can. You can reach out to me on the ‘Contact Us’ page by requesting to work with me.

On a personal note ... I love spending time with my husband and our four kids. We enjoy traveling and seeing foreign places; recently we went to Europe and thoroughly enjoyed all the culture there. In my personal time I enjoy reading fiction literature. When I need to get grounded and present, I love jumping into a good puzzle or working on projects.

You can heal and grow and I’m here to help you do so. This is your opportunity to start making positive changes in your life and begin feeling better about yourself.  Please call the office and ask to be added to my schedule, I'd love to begin working with you!
